Insert blank lines through a range

Hi - is there a straight forward way of inserting a blank line after each data line within a given range

Dim LR As Long, I As Long
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For I = LR To 2 Step -1
    Rows(I).Insert
Next I
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
