insert in a existing table

i have the following code:

SELECT x1.data, Sum(x1.val*IIf(x1.CLASS='food',1,0)), Sum(x1.val*IIf(x1.CLASs='beer',1,0)) AS Beer, Sum(x1.val*IIf(x1.CLAss='alcohool',1,0)) FROM x1 into xreal GROUP by x1.data

which insert data in a table access xreal..

when i run the procedure in VBA, it say that the table exist

i don't know how to do the statement to insert the data in xreal without using

.addnew
.fields... etc
