Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
This will insert x rows starting at row 2. In this example, x = 10.

Code:
x = 10
Rows(2).Resize(x).Insert

Try
Code:
Sub InsertRow()
Dim Rng
Rng = InputBox("Enter number of rows required.")
Range(ActiveCell.Offset(0, 0), ActiveCell.Offset(Rng - 1, 0)).Select
Selection.EntireRow.Insert
End Sub
