Hi,
I am trying (and failing miserably) to insert a row into sheet 1 and have it automatically update sheet 2, sheet 3 etc at the same place.

I would like to do the same with a column as well.

Can this be done?

By the way this is my FIRST attempt at doing ANYTHING with Excel,
so my knowledge is very very basic, hence the reason for being here.

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Hello and welcome to MrExcel.

Select the first sheet then hold down the Shift key and click on the last sheet's tab. This groups the sheets. Now if you insert a row or column (or enter anything in a cell) the same action will occur on all sheets.

To ungroup them, click on the tab of one of the sheets in the middle - don't forget to do this

As the insert of a row or column will be done on a regular basis.
