Inserting named ranges

Greetings,

I have a workbook I am creating for a router config that I want to divide up into separate pages for different tasks, but in the end bring them all back into the one worksheet.

eg.

I have a single spreadsheet that has a section 'reserved' for Access Control Lists and I want another tab to include the ACL's and be able to be inserted into the main tab. The ACL's may be of a variable number of lines (as few as 10, as many as 100) and I would like to be able to have (on the main tab) just a placeholder line, so I can modify ACL's as a separate entity without having to allow editing of the whole main configuration.

Named ranges seems like what I need to use (happy to be proven wrong) but not sure how to insert them.

Thanksheaps.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
I appreciate the quick response.

Not being a VB programmer (and still getting my head around formulas) this may take a bit to digest and adapt to my situation.

So far I have taken a complex task of writing a router config script and eliminated the majority of areas where someone may err and cause me issues, so this will be a great help.

Again, thanks.
