Install Analysis Toolpak on open if it hasn’t been previously installed

Hi all,

I hate to bring up an old problem here that there are many related posts for. I just need some clarification.

I have found multiple, multiple versions of code that acts to tick the Analysis Toolpak box in the Add-ins area and run the Toolpak.

However I can’t figure out if this will actually run the the toolpak if it has not been previously installed.

I remember installing the toolpak for the first time and having an actual installation box come up and install the toolpak. Then the toolpak could run.

I can’t really test it because I don’t know how to reset the toolpak to as if it were never installed at all (I can only untick the boxes which will stop it from running) – short of uninstalling and installing excel again.

The code I’m using to run the toolpak on open is this:
