Intersecting Cell

I previous created a script that found a specific location in a data sheet where it would insert a row and put in an entry and then later in the script it found another location accross Row 1 and inserted a new entry in a column. Now I want to find the intersecting cell of that new row and new column so i can put data in that cell. How would I find that intersecting cell?
