Hi everyone,

I have Access version 2002 and receive a message "Invalid Operation"

1>Import text file
2>Right click on the table icon
3>Select Export
4>Select Paradox 7-8
5>Receive message Invalid Operation

Paradox 7-8 worked in the past but no longer works.
Any ideas for fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Thanks for your reply. I'm using a Windows XP machine and Access 2002. Possibility of security update when I had to re-install a new hard drive and all the programs again. The paradox 5 and 4 work fine just the Paradox 7-8 give the Invalid Operation.

If you had to re-install your programs, did you make sure that you also applied all Windows updates, so you have the most current versions (and app patches)?

I've had issues with some of MS updates for Office XP Professional. Some updates would not allow me to open files so I had to delete them 1 by 1 until Excel, Access, etc. worked. Meaning opening the files.

Hmmm, that could be your issue, if there are some updates you haven't applied.
