Allow me to explain my situation: I'm a student that has taken a typing course. What I've been doing is taking 5 assessments at a time, and then listing my speed accuracy, raw typing speed, and adjusted typing speed in three columns, with the average of each listed directly below.
I've been recording them in an excel document, and for each day I'd go down a few rows (always the same number) place in the date and time, and then repeat the process.
What I'd like to do is make a line graph of my progress over the last couple weeks, and I'm pretty sure this will require altering how reference cells behave in regards to formulas.
So, basically, what I want to know how to do is make a formula, that whenever it's drag-pasted to a cell below it, the reference cell will jump down an additional 8 rows each time so that it's only using the averages of each of my typings scores. How would I do this?
I'm new here, but I'd really appreciate the help.
