Is it possible to use vlookup to get a value but when I delete the source, the value remains?

Hi all,

i currently have a vba macro that generates values for my analysis.

however, i use the same macro sheet for the 100s of accounts that i have to analyze. It would be great if i could use vlookup to get the values on my analysis page. and after delete the content in my macros page. However, i require my analysis page values to remain there.

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"

Sounds like you could incorporate that into your macro.

If I've understood you correctly, you could try recording the action of copying and pasting Values over the top of the data the vlookups return. That way the results become static values that won't change when the source data is removed.
