My IT department will be migrating our entire file system. This will end up changing file path names and ultimately breaking all the links in hundreds of Excel workbooks. I know how to fix broken links, but it's a time consuming task which requires me to open each affected workbook. Is there a better way to manage this? I prefer to just run a utility or app on an entire folder tree without having to open each workbook.

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
It depends on how the hierarchy of folders vs external links was designed in the first place. Any external link that is within the same folder (as the document with the links), or a lower folder, will automatically adjust when you copy to a new location - providing the supporting documents are copied at the same time. Do you see what I mean?
