I back up my Microsoft Outlook noes in Excel but when I do, some of my longer notes get truncated. Is this because there is a maximum number of characters in a cell? If so, what is it and how can I get around it?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Yes, the limit is 32,767 (only 1024 will display in the cell).

How do you get around it? Not sure I can help with that.
As far as I know, there is no getting around that limit in Excel.

Perhaps you might be able to MS Word or Access
