Is there a way to do a reverse VLOOKUP with negative numbers?

I doubt there is, but thought I would throw the question out there. There are times when my main lookup value is on the right side of my data set. It would be great to do a VLOOKUP with a "-5" as my column, and it would grab from right to left of the data set.

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Take a look at INDEX and MATCH. Once you've mastered them, you'll never go back to using VLOOKUP.
