Is there any software besides VBA?

Hi there,

I recently branched out from my usual VBA work and I started tampering with Visual Bassic Express 2010. After being on VBA for so long, I am struck by how much more useful and easy it is (even the free - non-professional version). Is there anything out there that gives me more options and better interface with my VBA development? I don't know if Microsoft has other software or if anyone else has a VBA editor with more options/easier interface.

Thanks,
Ilya

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Sorry, the VBE is what it is and Microsoft has no plans to upgrade it (other than to add functionality as it relates to new releases), but there are add-ins you can get to help out.

Check out www.mztools.com

Notepad ++ is also a cool editing tool if you have a lot of long code. One feature is that it allows you to hide rows while you're coding.

Thanks,
I have MZ tools for VBA and I find it quite helpful. What is really driving me is the VBA editor has all of 7 or 8 controls, and no functionality as simple as "docking". I was hoping there might be a 3rd party application that could at least write the code to enable something more than the default. (Also the VBA editor doesn't let you hide sub-routiens, how annoying is that?)
