i have two columns:
=F2-B2
=E2-B2

i want another column that shows the values of both columns such as:

=F2-B2 (= "0")
=E2-B2 (= "1")

new column: "0 to 1"

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying

why would excel do this?

why would excel decide to tack on 15 decimal places to some cell contents?

Try

=TEXT(H2;"0,00") & " to " & TEXT(I2;"0,00")

The formatting works like Custom Number under the menu Format Cell.

Try

=TEXT(H2;"0,00") & " to " & TEXT(I2;"0,00")

The formatting works like Custom Number under the menu Format Cell.
this says formula contains an error and highlights the "h2"

this:
=TEXT(K2,"0,00") & " to " & TEXT(L2,"0,00")

is getting close but turns:

-1.00 0.00

into:

-001 to 000

Change the semi-colon : to a comma ,.

Kjuel appears to be in Denmark where the ; seperator is used in formulas rather than a comma.

Also change the comma in "0,00" to a . , again an international settings issue.
