I am new to VBA and for years I would have like to be able to change the font color of an entire row based upon the value in a particular column.
I am using Excel 2010.
For example if the value of cell (anyRow, G) is negative then every cell in anyRow should have a red font color. Can you help?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
In xl 2007
Select the Row Header of say 1 - 100 (change to suit) - Home, Conditional Formatting,
New rule, Based on a Formula, In Txstbox enter =$G1<0, Format, Fill = Red
OK, OK...

Select the rows, starting with Row 1.

On the Home tab, click Conditional Formatting, click New Rule, click Use a Formula, in the formula box enter

=$G1 < 0

Click the Format button, click the Fill tab, click a red colour, click OK twice.

Sorry, just re-read your request - I didn't consider the font, only the Background color,,

Change my instructions to click the Font tab, then click the Color dropdown arrow.

At the Format Button stage - Fill - select No Colors;
then at the Font Tab, select the color down for Red (maybe even also, bold).
OK, OK
