Hello

I have a problem with a spread sheet that has two macro to open a PDF drawing, both macros get the filename & path from the same cell where it is generated.

The 1st macro opens the PDF as a stand alone document when to operator click the button in the spread sheet.

The 2nd macro regenerates the data after a new sales order number is entered and then embeds the same PDF into the top of the spread sheet.

I have prepared over 40 of these drawings in the last two weeks, of which 33 are working fine with both macros embedding & opening the PDF drawing when clicked.

But I have 7 that will open the drawing when you click the button, but won't embed the PDF drawing, with either an error, or can't find the file, yet both macros get the file path & name from the same cell reference....

I can't see what my problem is....

is there some kind of restriction with file names when using embedded objects, is it cap sensitive?

apart from that, it all works as expected, see image.

Any help is welcome

Thank you

Peter
