Hi Excel Gurus!
I have a list of (739) sequentially time-stamped (in seconds) numbers like 1.03-, 2.61-, 3.74-, 1.10-, 16.28-, etc where one or more numbers have the same time-stamp.
I wanted to know if it was possible to iterate sequentially by time-stamp through the list looking for which combination of numbers within a time-stamp set or immediately adjacent time-stamp sets, gives a sought for total.
For example if the numbers within time-stamp set 5sec are 1.03-, 2.61-, and 3.74- and those in time-stamp set 6sec are 0.77-, 15.92-, 40.00-, and 3.10- and the total I want is 4.51-, the solution would be number 3.74- in set 5sec and number 0.77- in set 6sec.
I hope I have been able to clearly explain my request. If this is possible to evaluate, would anyone be able to guide me through the maze? I'm completely at a loss here.
Many thanks for any and all assistance given.
Best regards,
Tj_El
