Looking to do below but then want to name the picture the old name

activesheets.shapes.range(Array("TEXTBOX1" ,"PIC3")).SELECT
SELECTIONSHAPERANGE.GROUP.SELECT

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Try...

Code:
[font=Verdana]ActiveSheet.Shapes.Range(Array("TEXTBOX1", "PIC3")).Select

[color=darkblue]With[/color] Selection.ShapeRange
    .Group
    .Name = "PIC3"
    .Select
[color=darkblue]End[/color] [color=darkblue]With[/color]
[/font]

Thanks theis works, but I was hoping to make the grouping permanent. Is that possible is there a way to tell it to become one pictutre when done. Should I just copy as picture and the past it?

Once the shapes have been grouped, they are treated as a single shape. What is it that you're trying to do?

I have a dahboard with picture of charts and data. I wanted to allow people to write on the dashboard Textboxes etc. So when that picture comes upi text would be there.this works but when somebody tries to add a box the prior grouping get lost.
