Hello,
I have a shared excel workbook for my company's sales team. I have used Pivot table to show data. I have also added 2 Slicers ( Manager Slicer and Sales person slicer).
Data Details:
I have 10 managers, 100 sales people ( assume 10 per manager) with details of how many calls a sales person made and how many products they sold on what dates.
The Pivot table has 2 filters. Manager filter and Sales person filter
I would need to distribute the report to all 10 managers however I want to limit the manager to see data for his team only. i.e. Manager 1 shouldn't be able to see data for manager 2 sales team.
I have option to split the report in 10 copies i.e. each manager get their own copy of the report. OR I would like to keep one master copy and somehow limit each manager to see their own data only (via pivot filter or using the slicers). Can I do this using VBA (maybe separate password for each manager when they log in they will only see their own team data). Maybe create a landing page/dash board for user to input the password and then pivot table OR slicer can only be showing their data only.
Any input is appreciated
Thanks
muz
