Link Cells Problems

Hi guys,

Having a lot of trouble with the link cells function.

The workbook is several worksheets detailing data for several different areas of the organisation I work for. They are conditionally formatted based on the 'due date' data (red for overdue, yellow for less than sixty days and green for more than sixty days away).

The last worksheet is an annex which summarises all of the other worksheets. I have been using link cells to get the information in it's entirety to the last worksheet entitled 'annex A'.

The problems I have been coming accross:

1. When I initially copy/paste the data (say from worksheet FINANCE to the ANNEX A worksheet) it does not paste all of the data, it skips certain rows every time. Ie. It will paste serials 1,3,4,5,7,8 and 10 but will omit 2,6 and 9. Any advice on how to get around this without having to hand copy and paste every single serial would be appreciated. There are a lot of serials.

2. When I paste and then use the paste menu to 'link cells' a number of the rows lose all the formatting they did have in the original worksheet. My understanding is that using link cells should just directly imitate whatever the source cell displays (formatting, data, formulas etc.)

Any help much appreciated, I am using Excel 2003
