Link Excel charts in Word: change chart reference

I have a spreadsheet with 44 charts -- 4 for each of 11 departments. Each month I need to submit a report to each department, preferably with Word 2007. Each report is identical in appearance but should reference charts pertinent to that department which automatically update as I enter the month's data into Excel.

I used Paste Special/Paste Link in Word to link 4 Excel Chart Objects. What I want to do in Word is use Save As... to replicate this Word document for the other 10 departments, but change the chart references. For instance, Chart 5 for Department B is the same as Chart 1 for Department A (the "template"). How do I change the chart reference in the Department B Word document?

Thanks!
