Hi

I have a number of cells that use the formula "get pivot data" and then a reference to another workbook stored on a shared drive (all on the same drive). I notice that when i close the source workbooks, my fields are blank, I can only see the formula result when the source workbooks are open.

How can i get the data to show without the other wokbooks being open?. I am using excel 2010, the soruce workbooks are also in excel 2010
