Linking variable data in another worksheet?

I want to input this link :

='c:\documents and settings\My Documents\Briefings\[Peoplesoft_Data_CS_and_Cons_Sales(1).xlsm]Peoplesoft_Data_CS_and_Cons_Sal'!$A2

into Column A, starting in A4

in the worksheet:

My Account Comms Compliance Report TEMPLATE.xlsm

I then need to paste the links to this variable data down column A.

Finally I need to copy/paste over the values to fix all these links from A4 downwards and then close the TEMPLATE file only.
