Linking workbook sheets to a master file

Can someone please help me with this. I am trying to Link several workbook worksheets into one Master Excel file. The only problem is that I loose all the formatting from the source files. Is there a way that I can link the source worksheets with their formatting the same as the source into the destination workbook? Thank you so much for your time people! :)
