Hi all,

I have this bit of code:

Code:
Dim oExcel As Object: Set oExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application")

Is there a way to see all of the available methods for "oExcel"?

:)Thank you!:)

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Or use the Object Browser in the VBEditor (f2)

Thanks Andrew and RoryA! I might have finally learned something about early vs. late binding...

You guys are the bees' knees/cats' pajamas :)

I used

Code:
Dim oExcel As Excel.Application: Set oExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application")

and intellisense worked perfectly. That one was easy to figure out how to bind early. I have a couple other variables that I don't know how to use this on.

Code:
Dim oFso As Object: Set oFso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Dim oFolder As Object: Set oFolder = oFso.getfolder("C:\Users\Craig.Penny\Desktop\ABC123")

How would I do these?

Instead of posting each specific question, could you recommend a way to learn to do this in general?

Thanks again!

oFso would be declared as FileSystemObject and oFolder as Folder.

You'll need a reference to Windows Scripting Runtime.

It didn't even occur to me that I would need to set any additional references but now it makes perfect sense.

Thanks Andrew and Norie!
