Hi all,

This might be impossible, but I have a file that I am trying to build and I would love for it to be able to display all values from a range of data, that matches a name, but the data would be a date range.

For example, some puts in April 1st to April 30th, then selects John Smith as the person. In one column, I would like to see all the dates, between the range, that John Smith worked, next to that, the value for the hours he worked. The attached image shows how it might look.

Now I have the data in a massive list, the second shows a sample of it. I am hoping it is possible to generate a list of dates, within the range, then show values from a column. I am almost certain it is, just would like some back up

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
You will generally get faster/better suggestions if you provide your sample data and expected results with XL2BB to make it easier for helpers by not having to manually type out sample data to test with. They would then also know what columns and rows the data is in.

How did you manually come up with those results for John Smith. For example, I cannot see how you got 6 for 1st April.

For example, some puts in April 1st to April 30th,
Puts them where?
