I was wondering if it were possible to create a list of names, and then have excel rearrange that list into a random order? How would I go about doing this?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Create your list of names in column A. In B1 enter

=RAND()

and copy down as far as the last name. Select both columns and sort by column B.

Try this...

A2:A10 = list of names

Enter this formula in B2:

=RAND()

Copy down to B10.

To randomize the list...

Select A2:B10 then do a sort on column B. Any order, doesn't matter.
