Listbox refreshes after loop NOT during

Hi there,

I have a loop which opens workbook files in a folder one by one and copies and pastes info into a multicolumn listbox a line at a time.

Is there any way I can have the listbox update to show the progress so far?? Currently it remains blank until the end of the loop, then displays the list.
ALl help would be much appreciated!

Try adding a "DoEvents" statement inside the loop.

In your loop, after you add to the listbox, put DoEvents

For i = 1 to 10
    ListBox1.AddItem i
    DoEvents
Next i
