Hello, im quite new here. I found this nice consultation site today and the replies look very professional. Enough kissing :p
I want to create a program in excel (dont know the proper english term) that has 1 line in the first sheet which allows the user to enter data, for example:

Priority Person Starting date
1 Michael 29-09-06

I want to export this to another sheet which will function as some sort of database that stores all of the information. the sheet that is read from should be empty when the data has been copied over to the other sheet so the user can enter new information, which will be stored below the previously entered information in the "database" sheet, and so on.

Can you tell me if this is possible to make and how?

thanks in advance

Jan Willem

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Have you looked at the help in Excel at all?
