Locate first number in a word-number string

I have a list of data which contains words and numbers, for example, Cell A2 = "panels 260x260" or "bag filter 500x500". I need to strip out the numbers and put them into the column adjacent so "panel" or "bag filter" in column A and he dimension in column B. Any suggestions?
