Ok guys I am working on a spreadsheet and need a little help please.

I have a column called series it is column C and a column called game it is column D.

I want to write a formula to call a certain series and game number

for example

if the current row I am on is series = 3 game = 2.

Now I want to located a cell in the row where series = 3 and game = 1.

how would I do that?

This is because I have the spreadsheet entered by date so you get this

series 1 game 1
series 2 game 1
series 3 game 1
series 1 game 2
series 3 game 2
series 4 game 1
series 5 game 1
series 6 game 1
series 5 game 2
series 6 game 2
series 5 game 3

etc (This is just random but it is to make my point).

So I got a cell called To win and it always = the sum of the previous games of that series.

so using the example above The To Win cell for Row Series 5 game 3 = Row Series 5 game 2 Cell To Risk + Row Series 5 game 1 Cell To Risk.

Does this make sense?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Matt
