Hi everyone,

I'm in need of some help. I've tried searching the boards for a resolution but do not see one that fit's my needs, so here we go. I have a look up value call it B2 ($3.789) and want to look up a table (E3:G90) that will return the percentage. I know the answer is 12.50% but cannot have a formula to find the answer. I have a rather large data set that I need to bounce off this table. I've seen similar posts but most just want to look up certain values from two columns but I need to include everything in between. If I missed a similar post please forward me to the right one, but I have found a few and they have not been able to look between the 'Starting Cost' and 'Ending Cost'. I have the file but I cannot upload the file.

I'm using Windows 7 and Office 2010

Thank You for your help
Yasir Hasan

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Wow, I'm literally red in the face for overlooking such a simple solution. this issue is part or a now 10MB file that is full of LOOKUP's, MATCH's, INDEX, and OFFSET's. I was sure that s simple VLOOKUP woulndt work.

Thank You very much

try this:

=VLOOKUP(B2,E:G,3)
