Hi,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
My knowledge of excel formula building is quite novice, so I hope I can articulate my question properly (and interpret any responses that members are kind enough to provide)....
My Goal:
To create a look up formula that requires to fields to match for a row in order to return a value.
For example, I have two worksheets that have one common field (item name). However, there may be multiple rows within that worksheet with the same item number. I want my formula to first look at the item number and then look to see that the quantity field matches on both sheets. If both the quantity & the item number match return the quantity number.
I hope this make sense. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
