Hi,

Hope someone can help. I have a screenshot of my current workbook at:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/0qsfm7yfr4nwe56/EXCEL02.jpg?dl=0

The value in cell D19 is manually entered and can change periodically. I want a formula in cell A19 that will look the value in D19 against the values in cell range C1:C16 and then return the minimum value from cell B16 to whatever the corresponding cell between B1:B16 is. So for example, if I enter the value 27 in cell D19, then I would expect cell to find the lowest value between cells B8:B16. Therefore the value in cell A19 would return the value 200 as this is the lowest.

Hope this makes sense. This work is for a very good (not for profit) cause so any help would be MUCH appreciated.

I am using Excel 2013.

Thank you

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.

Hi, please try this formula. You can use this directly in cell A19 in your active worksheet:

=MIN(INDEX(B1:B16,MATCH(D19,C1:C16,FALSE),1):B16)
