Hello,

I am trying to figure out how i would make a formula which would look up h:ss:mm in a column and would highlight a cell in that column if the difference of h:ss:mm was > 0:00:35

example:

10:00pm
11:36pm 00:00:36 <----highlighted cell

I would then want that cell to be copied to another worksheet automatically?

I hope i have explained it well enough.

Any idea? Thank you!

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Thanks very much for the formula :)

Also, what i was trying to achieve was if the time difference is greater than 15 minutes, then that cell would change colour to red and copy into "worksheet 2"?

I am having great difficulties with trying to figure that out. Is that quite difficult to do?

Thank you again.

use format-conditional formatting
try this

highlight C1
the cell value is greater than 00:15:00
then click format in the middle row
choose pattern
choose color
click ok twice.

Ah very nice thank you!

Would you have any ideas how to make a macro which would copy only the highlighted cells to another worksheet? :p

Thanks very much!

only one cell or one continuous or discontinuous range can be HIGHLIGHTED.

for example you can highlight A1 or aA1 to A8 or A1.A4<a7(you have to use control key to highlight these cells.
You mean copy the colored cells. These colors are due to conditional formatting. that means all the cells which have condition formatting formula even though some cells are not colored because they do not satisfy the format conditions.

If you want only colored cells it can be done. you post a small extract of a sheet containing conditional formatting cells and ask a precise question showing examples.
