Hi there,

Im finding it quite challenging but hopefully someone can help me.:nya:

At the moment Im constructing a news feed tool.

The aim of the tool is to display news dependent on a set of filters. eg, category group, category, supplier, year and month. When I apply the filter I only want to see data which meet my set criteria.

I was able to construct the filter, however I'm unable to create the formule which looks up the data from the list of data depending on the filters. I noticed that multiple data rows can meet the applied filter, therefore it necessary to display them in different rows.

Let me know if you can help! Any input is much appreciated!!!:nya:

Perhaps some has an example

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hi

It is possible to do what you require using vb code, however, would it be better to construct a data-base which would give you much more flexibility. A simple soluton would be to use the Filter functionality within Excel.

Click the block that above and left of the Row & Col Header to select the whole sheet. Then Right Click and Select the filter option of your choice. You can then select the criteria by col.
