MMMMM!!!

I'm trying to do any sort of lookup function that will return values from across different sheets.

Like, for example... on a sheet, I have a team name.... 'Giants'. Then, there are 10 sheets for each year 2001-2011 (2004, 2007, etc) which contain win totals for all teams.

How can I get the cell next to Giants to return their win total for a given year? Some more convoluted version of Index-Match? Sumifs? Something perhaps involving large, predatory felines and beef?

I'm sure this has been answered before and I tried to search the forum but AHHHHHH!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Oh God, gracious thanks, Allahu Ahkbar, peace be with you, Mazel Tov, may the sword not even be felt by your intestines (or whatever Japanese people believe), this is so very helpful.

I promise to use this spreadsheet to grace humanity, all over their filthy bodies, even if they don't want it.
