Lookup Last Date in Column

Hi there,

I need to run a formula that reports the last known date from a column range.

The criteria is simple, there exists a sheet of data entered whenever there are movements (debits or credits) and I need to be able to search for the last known entry.

All I need to formulate is the last movement date which will be the most recent, and therefore likely the last entered row in the spreadsheet.

Are there any formulas you can reccomend to do this?
