would VLOOKUP on separate sheet be of any help?

B2 =IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!$A$3:$D$5,2,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!$A$3:$D$5,2,FALSE))

C2 =IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!$A$3:$D$5,3,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!$A$3:$D$5,3,FALSE))

Hi There

sorry for the delayed response, we had connectivity issues. the solution posted is not working.

my scenario is: The user inputs two things the fuel e.g (Heating - oil-Cast iron (pre-1970) and on another cell user inputs either AFUE % low or AFUE % high.

Based on the user inputs, i need to assign the right percentage:
my data table is arrange in these three columns.

Feul AFUE % low AFUE % high
Heating oil-Cast iron (pre-1970) 60% 20%
Heating oil-Retention head burner 70% 78%
Heating oil-Mid efficiency 83% 89%
Electric heating-Central or baseboard / Elements 100% 100%
