Loop - want to recalc sheet and paste new values in sequential order

Hi,

I'm sure this is really basic but need quick help on the following:

I need to recalculate a sheet, copy a specific generated value from a fixed cell to a new cell, recalculate the sheet and paste the new value (from the fixed cell) to the next cell below the previously copied entry. I have to repeat this step 1,000 times.

Any help would be gratefully accepted!

you need some VBA code for that, how far did you get recording and/or writing your macro?
