Hi all... I am new here.. I hate for my first post to be one begging for help, but here it goes anyway. I am trying to figure this out and don't know where to begin..

I have a spreadsheet that breaks down call volume for each half hour period throughout every day for the month. Here is a small snap shot:

excelimage.jpg

What I want to do is show the average call volume per half hour for each day of the week. IE, over the course of August, Monday call volume from 7:00 (to 7:30) averages 5.

So, for each row where (A contains "Mon" and D contains 7:00) average out the numbers from G

Does this make sense? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
I don't see the picture you put in your post, but I have a feeling this calls for a pivottable where you group the times of calls in 30 minute intervals...
