I have created a combo box to pull materials and prices from the pricing sheet within the workbook. It works fine but when I save the workbook, close it and reopen it the text describing the material chosen shows up for a second or two and then disappears. The price in the LinkedCell remains. For example

I am choosing from a list of plywood and I select 1/2" standard sheathing the Linked cell shows $12 and the cell that contains the drop down list (combo box) shows !/2" standard sheathing. When I save and close the workbook the $12 in the LinkedCell remains but the cell with the combo box goes blank.

What do I need to do to keep the name of the material in the combo box showing?

thanks
Bruce
