Lost Focus / Get focus

I have some ActiveX check boxes on my sheet. When I check one and then scroll, the checkbox kind of lags behind. I have noticed that if I select a cell before scrolling, then there is no problem.

Can I use Lost Focus to "deselect" the checkbox and if so, how do I write the code?

Further, can someone give me a brief description in the use of Lost Focus and Get Focus, I don't quite get their use even after searching.

Thanks in advance.
