We receive many files each week from a database and are automatically saved in Excel 2003. A macro was setup to go into the workbook with only one worksheet and make changes. Unfortunately, the macro was written to start in worksheet "Sheet1" but the workbooks each have an equipment named worksheet with tabs like i.e. forklift2 or engine3 etc. How can a person run the macro so that it does not have to worry that the worksheet has a different filename each time?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Basically, you can refer to worksheets by their name ("Sheet1") or their number (1). If there's always one sheet, (1) should always work to get what you want. If there are more than one sheet, well, that's a different story...
