Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
This is my template worksheet

Code:
file name - Template.xlsm
macro refrence - 'Template.xlsm'!RefreshData

new file made

file name - Template_march_21_2011.xlsm
macro refrence - 'C:\data\Template'!RefreshData

however i want macro refrence to change automatically as below

file name - Template_march_21_2011.xlsm
macro refrence - Template_march_21_2011.xlsm'!RefreshData

I want to know what references you are talking about. Where are these references that you want to be changing automatically?

What type of button? Is this button embedded in a worksheet?
