Hi,

I absolutely love this site! I couldn't find a thread that answers this question:

I have a macro that currently runs VBA code once a button is selected- I have since made this into an Excel Add-In/Plugin. However, when I enable my excel-addin for a new worksheet/book, the buttons disappear. Is there a way I can generate those same buttons that were made in fixed locations to open the same in a new worksheet when the add-in is enabled?

Thanks, Grace

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Can't you use the ribbon for that purpose?
Add CustomUI tab to the addin the it will be available when the addin is loaded.
I find this approach much more convenient once you get used to it.
