Hi,

I have this value on my cell, say A1:

<>Max Power @ 2 OHM: 1000w x 2
<>RMS Power @ 4 OHM: 300w x 2
<>Max Bridged Power @ 4 OHM: 2000w x 1
<>Signal-to-noise ratio: 102 dB
<>THD: 0.01%
<>Dimensions: 11 7/8 W x 2 5/8"" H x 16 13/16 L
<>Trimode operation
<>Bridgeable
<>Remote subwoofer level control
<>Line and speaker level inputs
<>Variable gain control
<>Power and protection LEDs
<>Variable lowpass crossover
<>High pass crossover
<>0-+18dB variable bass boost
<>MOSFET power supply

Those <> are bullets supposedly. So since these should be on html format, I have to replace those <> (without whitespace in between) with < l i > (without whitespace in between, again).

The find-and-replace routine won't work for the second to last <>. It only replaces the first <>.

And the above is just a single value for one cell.

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
This might be overly simple, but you are choosing to 'Replace All' aren't you? - I just did this without a problem :)

I guess you assumed each line as one value for every cell. No, the whole thing is just one value for one cell alone. And the rest of the cell have the same have their different value of the same nature, bulleted (or more than 2 <>'s).

oppps...yeah. it works now. I guess it just doesn't work when i have to select the entire column first then do the find and replace all. :eeek:
