Hi,

I currently have a macro which updates the date in the G column to the current date when I place a "Y" in the F column. I'd also like a macro (or an addition to the existing macro) which would add the value from the adjacent cell in column H, to the adjacent cell in column J when I enter a "Y". I'm not really sure how to go about it though.

Here's my existing macro:

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

On Error GoTo ending
If Intersect(Target, Range("F2:F100000")) = "Y" Then Target.Offset(0, 1).Value = Now

ending:
Exit Sub

End Sub

Any help would be appreciated :)

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Okay I figured out a way just using IF statements, which should have been obvious.

However, if you look at my code, it returns the Now value which includes the time. Ideally it would just return the date so I could use IF to match it

Any help?

I've tried to replace Now with Date.Today but it doesn't work :/
