Hello,
Is there any way (or any stand alone product) that will allow you to "manage" macros and code? Rather than sift through the tons of macros/code, I'm wondering if there's something out there that will take everything from my personal.xlsx file, and just copy all the code into a text file, or worksheet, etc. Sure would make cleaning up a breeze...
Thanks!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
For what purpose, exactly?
I am not sure what kind of "managing" you envision doing if you export the code to a text file.

Thanks for the reply... Basically want to do some housekeeping. I have a ton of old code, macros without names, i.e., macro23, etc. Was just looking to see if I can find something to list all this stuff out, so I can go back in and delete, rename things, etc. For instance, in my Module 86, I have no fewer than 20 macros, some good, some I don't use, some that could use cleaning up, etc. I just want something that would make it a little easier.

Personally, I think it is easier to view/edit the code in the VB Editor, as in there you have the nice formatted code, where if you export it to Text, you will note.
You can also use things like "Option Explicit" and "Compile Code", to help locate errors.

However, take a look at these things and see if they are what you are looking for:

I use the Personal Macro Workbook myself, and only have 3-4 modules. So I just use Copy -> Paste to save the code out to a text file (for backup purposes).
You probably shouldn't have "tons" of procedures in your Personal Macro Workbook, as it might make maintaining it all a bit cumbersome.
You may want to consider create some add-ins and using those, if you have that much code. There are lots of tutorials you can find on that by Googling "creating Excel add-in".

I use OneNote, just copy out and then you can search by tabs or snippets
